WEEKLY COMMUNITY COVID DASHBOARD
Below is this week's update.
As you can see in the data chart, we assume that our numbers have been underreported for the past two weeks, since we have not been in school. Again, we ask everyone to please contact the attendance line at 317.524.7118 or mmckinneytorres@brebeuf.org any time a student has had symptoms of COVID-19, has been a close contact, or tests positive for COVID-19, even if the student continues to attend online classes. Closely monitoring our community data is imperative to having confidence that will enable us to come back to in-person school as soon as possible.

HELP FOR A MEMBER OF THE BREBEUF JESUIT COMMUNITY
Brebeuf Jesuit has learned that one of our Quest Food employees, Eboni Thomas and her 24 year old daughter, Brooklynn, lost all of their belongings to an electrical fire in their apartment building the night before Thanksgiving. They have been staying at a hotel since everything happened which the Red Cross and the apartment complex has helped pay for. Eboni said they will be going to stay with her elderly mother until they are able to move to a new apartment. With COVID being so prominent, staying with her mother is not the ideal situation, but currently is her only option until they can move to a new apartment
Quest employees are currently not working due to schools in Marion County going to full virtual learning until January 15. This has only added to the loss she is currently going through. Eboni will find out on Friday, December 4, a possible date of when they can move into a new apartment near Brebeuf. When this happens, she is going to need help to get the items they will need. We have spoken with Eboni and she is open to the donation of gently used furniture, clothing and other household items. If you would like to make a gift to assist Eboni with expenses, you can make a gift to Brebeuf's Angel Fund and we will ensure she gets the funds designated to her. Simply click on the link below to make your gift, select Angel Fund as the designation and note Eboni in the comment field.
Thank you in advance for any support you can provide. If you have additional questions, please contact Cassie Gardner at cgardner@brebeuf.org.
