Illicit discharge and why you need to report it |
Not everything flowing into a storm drain belongs there. In fact, storm drains are designed to carry rainwater or snowmelt only. When pollutants or other harmful substances enter the stormwater system, it's called an illicit discharge β and it can quickly impact our local river, lakes and waterways.
