Help Send Kids to Camp
It is time for us to show up for local kids. Donate to the Summertime Kids program in 2026:
  • Help now – Send local children to summer camp this year. Click here or donate by check, stock, Qualified Distribution from your IRA, or recommend a distribution from your Donor Advised Fund to Cumberland Community Foundation, PO Box 2345, Fayetteville, NC 28302-2345. (Tax ID 58-1406831)
  • Help forever – Create your own named endowment to send children to camp every summer, forever. Name your endowment. Make a gift of any size. Donate $10,000 within five years. Call Maddie Kellogg at (910)483-4449 x107. 

Women’s Giving Circle of Cumberland County Celebrates $1,000,000 Milestone
The Women’s Giving Circle of Cumberland County (WGCCC), a program of CCF, gathered community leaders, giving circle members, elected officials, and nonprofit partners at its 8th Community Awareness Scorecard Breakfast on March 6th at Highland Presbyterian Church to celebrate the release of its 2024–2025 Community Awareness Scorecard and to highlight a significant milestone: more than one million dollars in total grantmaking since its founding.
Since its inception in 2008, the Women’s Giving Circle has published community scorecards to inform decision-making in its grants process. This year, the Giving Circle is celebrating a cumulative one million dollars awarded in grants. These investments support programs that address critical needs and create pathways for long-term stability and opportunity for women and children in Cumberland County. "The work of the giving circle would not be possible without the commitment from each member,” expressed Women’s Giving Circle Chair Debbie Best.

Board Alumni Gather 
Cumberland Community Foundation's board and staff welcomed our past directors at a luncheon on February 25th. Board Chair Ricky Lopes and CEO Mary Holmes delivered a short update on the foundation's growth, programs, and impact. It was a meaningful opportunity for reflection and all in attendance left with a renewed commitment to strengthening our community together.
