Student Organization Involvement
There are over 1, 000 active student organizations at Texas A&M. At the beginning of each school year many students seek opportunities to get involved across campus. Some of these student organizations are highly selective and have limited spots available. Here is some advice to share with your student who may be looking to get involved:
1. Look into several different organizations and get a feel for which one best fits the type of involvement you are seeking.
2. If you do not get into a selective organization, keep looking! There are several student organizations that have a delayed recruitment timeline, or take members in the Spring semester.
3. If your student is still seeking opportunites for involvement contact the Student Activities office for more information. https://studentactivities.tamu.edu or (979) 845-1133
