Forestry Work for Tincup/Beacon Hill to Begin in August

In 2010, the Ken-Caryl Ranch Master Association Board of Directors approved the Forest Stewardship Plan that calls for thinning of overgrown forests and shrub lands to improve overall forest health and remove excessive wildfire fuels. Since 2010, approximately 50 percent of the areas designated for management have been completed. The work this season, which will begin in August, will complete most of the projects designated in the plan. The areas designated for treatments are located north and west of the Manor House picnic shelter. The project will connect other treatment areas that have been managed as part of the overall Stewardship Plan. See our News page for details of the forestry project and a map of the area.
