Join UMSL College of Education current and former students and community partners to hear research presentations from recent graduates and a current student of the UMSL COE Doctoral Programs. Hear from a current doctoral student sharing a remembrance about Dr. Davis, his work and legacy. Network with fellow educators and community members all of whom carry on the legacy of Dr. Davis.

UMSL and Gateway Writing Project partner with National Park Service for writing marathon at Gateway Arch National Park


The activity was part of a special writing marathon sponsored by the University of Missouri–St. Louis’ Gateway Writing Project and the National Park Service. The event was part of the National Writing Project’s Write Out program, a free two-week celebration of writing, making and sharing inspired by the great outdoors.

College of Education answers demand for advanced training with Elementary Mathematics Specialist Certificate

50 educators have entered the Elementary Mathematics Specialist Certificate program at UMSL this semester. The two-year, 24-credit cohort program verses educators in grade appropriate mathematics, application of pedagogy and leadership training.

Five UMSL education students are volunteering with St. Louis Dancing Classrooms this semester.
