Paul Rose '01 became the dean of Case Western Reserve University School of Law.

Tricia Zunker '06 was re-elected as an associate justice for the Ho-Chunk Nation Supreme Court.

Melanie Chavira '01 and Sumako McCallum '00 were appointed to serve as judges on the Los Angeles County Superior Court.

John Echeverria '09 and Dawn Payne '02 were appointed to serve as judges on the San Francisco County Superior Court.

Robbie Hurwitz '06 joined Wahoo Fitness as vice president of legal and compliance.

Kiley MacDonald '05 joined the Whittier Trust Company as senior vice president and client advisor in the company's San Diego office.

Leah Litman on the Supreme Court

University of Michigan Law School Professor Leah Litman will discuss her new book Lawless: How the Supreme Court Runs on Conservative Grievance, Fringe Theories, and Bad Vibes, which argues that the Court has abandoned legal reasoning in favor of political grievances dressed up in judicial language. Litman will be in dialogue with UCLA Law Professor Rick Hasen. Co-presented by UCLA Law and the Hammer Museum.
