Insights, Impact, and Innovation

It can be easy to get caught in the minutiae of everyday details as we move from one year to another. But, when I take time to reflect on the past year and the new one ahead, I’m struck by the difference our community’s makes locally and globally.
With more than 285 faculty members, nearly 6,500 students, and over 100,000 active alumni, NYU Steinhardt continues to be a force for an interdisciplinary understanding of the human lifespan—and the numbers in our 2025 Impact Highlights below represent just a small piece of our School’s work.
As another year ticks by, I’m excited to see how Steinhardt continues to multiply our efforts to advance the education, health, and well-being of people and communities around the world.
