Entrepreneurship Program
Applications are Now Open:

From early-stage startups to fully-fledged technologies, the Entrepreneurship practice area at the Wond’ry offers resources for all faculty, students, staff and alums from Nashville-area colleges and universities who are interested in learning how to grow ventures from the ground up.

The Wond’ry offers three programs to help on the entrepreneurial journey: Ideator, Builder, and Founder.

Sullivan Family Ideator: The Sullivan Family Ideator program is an entry point into accessing the Wond’ry’s resources and expert mentors. It is a no-cost, non-credit program for students, faculty, and staff from universities throughout the Southeast. A limited number of microgrants are awarded to participants displaying a high level of commitment to the idea and initial evidence that supports its merit. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance for the Spring 2022 cohort by February 10th and the program will begin on Saturday, February 19. Builder: Builder provides a step-by-step guide for aspiring entrepreneurs (faculty, staff, and students) with a viable early stage idea to actually launch a new venture. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance for the Spring 2022 cohort by February 3 and the program will begin on Saturday, February 12. Click here to apply.

Founder: For the first time ever at the Wond’ry, university entrepreneurs have the opportunity to grow their ventures onsite at Vanderbilt. Founder provides office space, mentorship, and resources for university-affiliated founders ready to build and scale their venture. This high-touch program is limited to a small number of founders each year. The application is open now to be considered for the inaugural cohort for this exciting new initiative. Invited ventures are required to sign a participation agreement before move-in and provide proof of liability insurance. Resources are available to assist with obtaining the required insurance, if needed. Click here to apply.

Global Game Jam Virtual Kickoff: Jan. 20

This event will be the online virtual kickoff for the 2022 GGJ in Nashville. We'll go over the unique structure of the 2022 GGJ, provide an orientation and overview of Nashville's GGJ events, and let attendees pitch game ideas and network to form teams. Click here to learn more.
