How should Christians think about liberal education? This spring, Christian Scholars Forum is hosting a reading & discussion on C. S. Lewis's The Abolition of Man and Josef Pieper's
Leisure: The Basis of Culture.

This semester, the Graduate School and Baylor’s Academy for Teaching and Learning are partnering to offer a series of GPS workshops focused specifically on developing graduate students’ pedagogical skills. The first workshop entitled “Lecture for Learning” will address the most common form of university instruction. Participants will learn when it is appropriate to lecture and how to lecture in ways that facilitate learning. Register here.

Eligible doctoral students can apply for the Summer Dissertation Fellows program which provides a reserved spot in the week-long intensive Dissertation Writing Lab, a $400 scholarship, and participation in a weekly writing support group throughout the summer.
