Annual Ranch House Temporary Closure |
|

The Ranch House is currently closed and scheduled to reopen on Wednesday, Feb. 26
|
|
|
During the Ranch House closure, the RVR crew is still hard at work! A big thanks to the community, we understand that this is a large imposition. Below are some of the items we accomplished. While this is not a full list, many of the items noted facilitate the need for a partial or full suspension of services.

Boiler maintenance was conducted that required hot water and heat in the facility to be interrupted
- Draining and scrubbing the lap pool and hot tubs
- Annual inspections of fire alarms, building security alarms and fire suppression systems were conducted
- Staining wood that has been worn or scuffed
- Deep cleaning of the bar, refrigeration units and coffee bar

Deep cleaning locker rooms
- Steam cleaning carpets throughout the facility
- Duct cleaning
- Back flow prevention inspection
- Tile repair and grout work in the showers
- Annual maintenance on all hardwood flooring and tile was conducted prohibiting all foot traffic

Homeowners can refer to the upcoming board packet for more detail surrounding work done during the annual closure. We thank you for your patience as we work through these items to get the facility in tip top shape for the re-opening on Wednesday, Feb. 26!

Now Hiring Summer Lifeguards |
The Ranch House is now accepting applications for summer lifeguards! Click here to complete the application. Lifeguards must be a minimum of 15 years old at the time of certification. We will tentatively hold lifeguard certification training at the Ranch House on Friday, May 16 (after school) - Sunday, May 18 (all days are required). A swim test and online training portion will be required prior to the in-person training.

Keep Dogs Leashed & Away From Wildlife |
|
|
|
Now that the golf course is closed during winter months, responsible winter traffic is permitted. Please remember, residents should stay off greens and out of bunkers. It is also imperative that you keep your dogs leashed at all times and be sure pick up after your pet!
We have received feedback concerning dogs chasing mule deer on the course. We implore homeowners to keep their pets away from the local wildlife and don’t forget — Carbondale’s leash laws apply in RVR.
