New Sign at the Community Center

A new sign was installed in the center median at the Community Center last week. The sign, which matches the design of the new community entrance signs, was paid for by the Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District.

2019 Dues Discussion

The Master Association Board is waiting until after the Metropolitan District mill levy election to adopt their budget and determine the 2019 dues level. At this time, the draft budget assumes that the MD mill levy vote will pass, and if that is the case, the MA would only be considering a $1 dues increase. This will generate approximately $60,000 in additional revenue. These funds will offset the increased costs of service; for example, the MA's cost for the trash/recycling program is increasing by $31,000 and insurance costs are increasing by $6,000. The Board will be discussing the Budget until final approval in early November, so please submit any comments/suggestions you might have to Chris Pacetti at chrisp@kcranch.org or 303-979-1876, ext. 116.

Mill Levy Information Nights

There are two Issues Committees formed regarding the proposed Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District Mill Levy increase, and each of the committees will be holding its own Information Night for residents:

  • Ken-Caryl Residents for Fiscal Responsibility: Oct. 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the Ranch House
  • Ken-Caryl Ranch Residents in Favor of the 2018 Mill Levy Increase: Oct. 16 at 6 p.m. at the Ranch House
These two groups are made up of and run by volunteers. While staff members cannot campaign for the mill levy, they can be in attendance to answer questions at the events held by volunteers.
