Get Ready For Fall Commencement 2021

Fall Commencement 2021 is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 19 at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena in downtown Milwaukee. The event begins at 10 a.m. Doors open at 8 a.m. to allow extra time for attendees to enter the arena. Library Learning Commons Extended Hours

The Daniel M. Soref Learning Commons in the Golda Meir Library will offer extended hours during final exams. The Learning Commons will be open 24 hours each day from Dec. 15-20 and then until 11 p.m. Dec. 21-22.

15 Students Win $7,000 Scholarships In Vaccination Campaign

UWM students stepped up this fall to help the campus surpass the UW System goal of a minimum 70% vaccination rate among enrolled students. As part of the UW System’s 70 for 70 vaccination incentive program, 15 UWM students have been randomly selected to receive $7,000 tuition credit awards.

Alternative Spring Break Trip Set For March

Thirty UWM students will travel to Asheville, NC, where they will gain a better understanding of Appalachian history, culture, and communities. Participants will engage in service at various non-profit agencies (focusing on issues of veteran rehabilitation, hunger and homelessness, and environmental sustainability) while enhancing their leadership skills.
