Dear Friends,

After ten years as Executive Director of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy, I have decided to pursue an opportunity with the County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation Planning and Development Agency.  Leading the Land Conservancy has been a tremendous honor.  I am filled with pride looking back over the past decade on the difference we’ve made together for our collective future.

I am also deeply grateful for your support and friendship throughout my journey here…And what an incredible journey it has been!

We have accomplished a lot in the past decade as we have grown our annual achievements, established our first endowment, conserved hundreds of acres, restored land to support our local wildlife and increased volunteer engagement.

The Land Conservancy has an incredibly dedicated staff and it is wonderful to know that Adrienne Mohan will be our Acting Executive Director.  She will be further supported by our team of directors---Susan Wilcox, Brittany Goldsmith and Connie Smith---who will keep the organization’s work moving forward without interruption.  I plan to remain on staff through November.

Thanks to your support, the Land Conservancy is stronger than ever, with the Board and staff poised to achieve even greater impact in the years ahead.

With heartfelt gratitude always,
Andrea Vona
