Kindercamp (ages 3 - rising K) and Wee Camp (ages 2 - 3) - half-day camps for our littlest campers at Penny Road Elementary School
Camp Explorer - our traditional summer day camp held at Apex Elementary School
Camp Explorer Extras - our traditional summer day camp with added themes and field trips at Apex Elementary School
Camp Explorer Sports Camp - our specialized camp opportunity for basketball or soccer at Apex Elementary School
Camp G.R.A.C.E.- our day camp designed for children with Pervasive Developmental Disorders (PDD), Autism Spectrum Disorder and other special needs

Volunteers are essential to making Swim for Life possible this spring. We’re seeking strong swimmers who are comfortable in the water and available for all sessions over a three-week period to help more than 225 children and adults gain lifesaving water-safety skills and confidence. Thanks to ongoing support from Delta Air Lines, these sessions are offered at no cost to participants.

Teen members and their guests are invited to the madness of a March Teen Takeover at the Kraft Family YMCA on Friday, March 13 from 7 - 9 p.m. Enjoy slime, bracelet making, ping pong, a high school 3v3 basketball tournament, dodgeball, snacks, video games and more.

March is National Nutrition Month, a time to focus on building healthy habits that support your overall well‑being. Find information on Nutrition HealthWorks counseling, our monthly webinar and Y Health programs that support healthy eating.

March is Women’s History Month, a time to recognize the women who strengthen our communities and inspire future generations. At the Y, we’re proud to honor their leadership, resilience and impact throughout our programs and branches.
|
|
|
| Our facility will close to adults over age 20 one hour earlier than usual at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 13 for our Teen Takeover. Thank you for allowing our teens exclusive use of our facility for a night of safe fun at the Y!
|

March 9: Take a Behind the Scenes Tour of DPAC in Durham. See the view from the stage, the theater, cast preparation areas and city views from the Skyline Lounge.

March 25: Tour the U.S. Army Airborne & Special Operations Museum in Fayetteville. Exhibits pay tribute to the culture and heritage of those serving from the 1940's to the present.

March 31: A no-cost workshop on Medicare 101: The Basics presented by Rhonda Narron, with Seniors' Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP), will cover the various parts of Medicare and how and when to enroll.

Our Y Health programs are physician-referred, evidence-based programs that support individuals managing pre-diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer recovery, weight management and fall prevention, offering expert guidance and a community of peers. A doctor’s referral is required.
