| Construction Progress at the Ranch House
Renovations are underway at the Ranch House! Crews have been working hard on the north end of the building to convert the map room and A/V room into a large, multi-purpose event space. The Ranch House lobby and the Adult Lounge are also under construction. Completion of this first phase is anticipated to be in late-December. As a reminder, the main entrance to the Ranch House is closed during renovations. Please use the Recreation Office entrance instead. The Community Center and Dakota Lodge renovations will start as soon as the building permits are granted, which is expected any day now. If you have any questions, please email bondprojects@kcranch.org.

Veterans Monument Dedication Ceremony Saturday
The community is invited to attend as the Ken-Caryl Veterans Monument is officially dedicated Saturday, Nov. 7 at noon at Community Park. Help us remember all those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, especially those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to preserve our freedom. There will be an honor guard, 21-gun salute, wreath-laying ceremony, pipe and drum corps, and the Shaffer Elementary Choir. The event is free and open to the public. The monument is located at Community Park at the corner of Sangre de Cristo and Crestone Mountain.

| Last Chance to Apply for a Master Association Committee
Committees are an important part of the administration of the Master Association. A committee is on-going and serves to advise the Board, and in specific tasks, act on behalf of the Board. Current committees are Architectural, Community Planning, Covenant, Election, Finance, Historical Society and Open Space. Committee descriptions can be found on the Committees & Task Forces page. All current and prospective committee members must apply for committee membership using the Committee Application. If you wish to apply for membership to multiple committees, please submit a separate form for each committee. The deadline for application is 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6. Forms should be submitted to Victoria DeSair at victoriad@kcranch.org, faxed to 303-972-1272 or dropped off at the Ranch House.

| Heirloom Park Open House
As part of the Bond Projects, Ken-Caryl Ranch will be updating Heirloom Park, which is located off of Club Drive and Mountain Oak in the Valley. You may remember that concept plans were presented last year, but some residents expressed concerns regarding the plans. With the feedback in mind, new concept plans are being developed. The plans will be presented on Wednesday, Nov. 11 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at an Open House at the Ranch House. We encourage residents to attend and provide feedback. If you can't attend, the plans will be posted online after the Open House.
