Host a Denison Everywhere gathering this January
Each year on the last Wednesday in January, Denisonians meet in cities around the world to celebrate the college and each other. This annual event’s success is thanks to the fantastic volunteers who take the lead in coordinating events in their city to create an opportunity for alums, families, and friends of Denison to connect.
Hear from one of our past Denison Everywhere organizers, Luke Romick ’16, about what makes the event so special as a volunteer:
“I am grateful for the opportunity to organize an event in my own community that brings together Denisonians across multiple generations. It’s something I look forward to each year. Even though it’s been nearly a decade since I graduated, hosting Denison Everywhere annually in Los Angeles helps me feel like I never left The Hill.”
We are especially excited for our next celebration, happening on Jan. 29, 2025, as we celebrate 20 years of Denison Everywhere. Help us connect Denisonians across generations by volunteering to host an event in your city. Help us make this the greatest Denison Everywhere yet!
Check out our list of locations and get in touch with Gary Fleisner ’13, associate director of regional and lifelong engagement, to get started!

Congratulations to our Swasey Sweethearts!
Congratulations to the winners of the Swasey Sweethearts Sweepstakes, Hannah Boyd ’01 and Andrew Boyd ’00. The couple wed in Swasey Chapel on Aug. 5, 2001. “If it wasn’t the hottest day of the year, it certainly felt like it!” Hannah says. “The handheld fans in the pews at Swasey were badly needed that day. We have beautiful memories of our wedding and many wonderful photos with Swasey as the backdrop.”
| | |
As the winners of the sweepstakes meant to celebrate Swasey Chapel’s 100th anniversary, the Boyds will come back to Swasey for a very special vow-renewal ceremony.
