Meet Your New GSA Online Community Chair |
Sixto Iván Arias is a 2nd-year EdD doctoral student in the Learning and Organizational Change program in the Moody School of Education. Last academic year, he had the opportunity to represent his program as the GSA representative and serve on the online community committee. He was interested in the Online Community Committee Chair because he is passionate about ensuring that online graduate students, regardless of their programs, feel included and engaged in the Baylor Community. As chair, he will work alongside the GSA executive cabinet and other chairs to increase engagement opportunities for online graduate students, while speaking with graduate program directors to learn about the needs of their online students. He welcomes any online graduate students to join the GSA Online Community Committee once the new academic year begins.
Be sure to email Sixto to learn more about the work he is doing for Baylor's online graduate community!

Gaby Provenzano is a student in the Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) Program. Before PA school, she took a nontraditional path, earning her B.S. in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Math while completing over 220 credit hours. She also worked in healthcare throughout school, mostly in pharmacies, where she discovered how much she enjoyed connecting with people and helping them better understand their health. She chose Baylor’s PA program because its hybrid format allows her to stay close to home, pursue an excellent PA education, and continue making time for the people and activities I value most, including running, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
