In a continued commitment to serve students from across the Commonwealth of Virginia, Radford University is launching the Radford Tuition Promise.
Beginning with the 2024-2025 academic year, incoming freshmen and transfer students who meet the following criteria will not pay tuition at Radford University:

- In-state Virginia residency
-
A household adjusted gross income (AGI) of $100,000 or less according to their 2022 federal income tax return
| |
- A Student Aid Index (SAI) of less than $15,000 according to their Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA
- Attend as a full-time, in-person undergraduate student

Radford Tuition Promise is funded through state and institutional gift aid. This means qualifying students will not be required to take out student loans for their tuition.
Radford University has begun an initiative to simplify the application process and offer a streamlined pathway for incoming students. By offering direct admission, we recognize and reward talented students who meet specific academic criteria, ensuring they have a clear and direct route to admission at Radford University.
Direct admission removes barriers to access at Radford University by eliminating much of the admission process. Applicants who meet the criteria are automatically offered admission without committee review.

Behavioral Ninjas Training Workshop |
Radford University Human Resources has opened registration for the training workshop “Behavioral Ninjas: Making the World a Better Place, One Behavior at a Time.” Both in-person and Zoom options are available.
Course description:
In every moment of the day, we are making choices about our reactions to people we meet or events during our day. These choices impact everything from the conversations we have to the relationships we form. But our choices go beyond this, as every reaction we have affects the people around us and their attitudes towards us. The concept of “Behavioral Ninjas: Making the World a Better Place One Behavior at a Time” is to provide us the opportunity to choose our reactions to more positively impact the behaviors of those around us.
“Behavioral Ninjas” has been developed from concepts in the book “5 Chairs 5 Choices” by Louise Evans.
Course objectives:
By the end of the session, the learner will be able to:
- Identify five behavioral choices.
- Describe their own typical responses.
- Choose the behaviors they want to practice.
