New College of Science dean has the soul of a scientist 

Santiago Schnell, recently appointed as the William K. Warren Foundation Dean of the College of Science, believes those in the college must collaborate not only with other scientists, but also with engineers, philosophers, theologians and others. He developed his multidisciplinary vision at an early age, while growing up in a house in the middle of a tropical rainforest. United Way funds programming for pandemic-weary kids 

Your gift to the United Way makes a difference. During the height of the pandemic, stress was high in many homes and kids felt it. They needed an escape from adult problems like layoffs, hard-to-find child care and food insecurity. The United Way awarded grants to nonprofits, like the Robinson Community Learning Center, to put on COVID-safe summer programs. (More...)

Find just the right book to get or give at annual book sale

The annual Notre Dame Press Book Festival and Book Sale is Tuesday-Wednesday, Nov. 9-10, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Hesburgh Library Concourse. In addition to several in-person events, an online sale begins Monday, Nov. 8.  (More...)

Campus community enjoys 'Falloween' fun

Faculty, staff and students celebrated fall and Halloween this past week. Seasonal dress and activities from costume parties to decorating contests to supporting the Fighting Irish in festive style could be found around campus. Here are a few fun photo highlights of the season.

NDPD unveils Eyes Up Irish! safety awareness campaign

This fall, the Notre Dame Police Department has seen an increase in near misses and accidents involving pedestrians, motorists and those riding bicycles, skateboards and e-scooters. Police partnered with Marketing Communications to launch a safety awareness campaign. (More...)
