Join the Baylor family for a ceremonial groundbreaking for the Memorial to Enslaved Persons on Friday, Feb. 23, at 1:30 p.m. on Founders Mall ahead of the official dedication in Spring/Summer 2025. The Memorial will incorporate new areas of reflection, gathering and community that honor Baylor’s complete history and our original campus in Independence. Read more about the memorial here.

Come to a workshop hosted by the GWC and GPS to learn more about the process of writing the dissertation: where to begin, how to establish helpful writing habits, tools that other writers have found helpful, practical tips for organizing and revising, and more. You'll hear from several speakers who have gone before you in this journey, and then we'll open up the floor for questions from participants. Register here.

How should Christians think about liberal education? This spring, Christian Scholars Forum is hosting a reading & discussion on C. S. Lewis's The Abolition of Man and Josef Pieper's Leisure: The Basis of Culture.Â
Beginning January 29th, the group will meet biweekly on Mondays for five meetings. Free lunch will be provided, so sign-up here

This semester, the Graduate School and Baylor’s Academy for Teaching and Learning are partnering to offer a series of GPS workshops focused specifically on developing graduate students’ pedagogical skills. This workshop will prompt participants to think through different challenging scenarios that may arise while teaching (grade change requests, class disruptions, upset students, etc.) and cultivate strategies for addressing the “Teaching Situations No One Prepared You For.” Register here.

The Baylor Learning Design Team in partnership with the Academy for Teaching & Learning has designed the DOTS program for doctoral students interested in learning the theory and practice of designing and teaching high quality online courses.
