UWM's Manfred Olson Planetarium has a full schedule of events in November. One of the highlights is the Secret Lives of Planets show, scheduled for Fri. Nov. 26. In this show, attendees will journey to each planet to gather clues and explore the mysteries that lie within. UWM At Waukesha Seeking High School Students For Networking Program

UWM at Waukesha has been awarded a $10,000 grant from The Women and Girls Fund of Waukesha County. This new program, Beyond GEMS Leadership Certificate, is an innovative program that will provide students with hands-on opportunities through networking mentorships and exposure to local industry. This access to the decision-makers in our communities will support young women and provide them with a strong portfolio for a future network. READ MORE

Scholarship Info Sessions Nov. 10, 11

Students are invited to attend a hybrid session on scholarships and grants on Nov. 10 and 11. The Roberto Hernández Center is committed to supporting students and is partnering with Maria Solis from the Financial Aid Department to create a comprehensive information session for students to learn how to earn scholarships.

UWM is one of four universities in Wisconsin ranked among the top educational institutions in the world, according to a new ranking by U.S. News & World Report. UWM is joined on the 2022 Best Global Universities list by UW-Madison, the Medical College of Wisconsin and Marquette University.

Single-Game Tickets Now On Sale For Milwaukee Basketball

Single-game tickets for the 2021-22 Milwaukee basketball season are now on sale. Prices start at $11 for men's games and are $7 per game for women's contests.

Spring 2022 Schedule Now Open

The Spring 2022 schedule is now live in PAWS Class Search and on the online schedule of classes. For additional dates and deadlines associated with Spring 2022, please see the Registrar’s Office calendar, and the Registrar’s Add/Drop calendar. For Spring 2022, priority enrollment starts Nov. 15 and continues through Dec. 3.

Alternative Spring Break Trip Set For March

Thirty UWM students will travel to Asheville, NC, where they will gain a better understanding of Appalachian history, culture, and communities. Participants will engage in service at various non-profit agencies (focusing on issues of veteran rehabilitation, hunger and homelessness, and environmental sustainability) while enhancing their leadership skills.

New Digital Identity Experience Debuts This Month

A unified digital identity experience is coming to UWM. On Monday, Nov. 15, when your student logs into UWM services, they'll be prompted to enter information to complete your transition to this new digital identity experience.
