This Mother’s Day feels different. Over the past year, we’ve watched something powerful emerge — not just another parenting conversation, but a real movement around technology. And at its center are moms.
Moms like you and me who love our kids fiercely and are willing to act. Moms showing up at school board meetings, asking tough questions about phones, social media and technology in classrooms. Pushing for phone-free schools. Reclaiming play, independence and a real-world childhood. Not simply out of fear or protection, though those feelings are real, but out of wisdom and deep love. And honestly, local moms are queens. Thoughtful. Engaged. Informed. Community-minded. Unafraid to lead when it matters most.
So today, we’re celebrating you by exploring the real stories of motherhood — the beautiful and the hard — alongside ways to reset, restore and savor simple joys, from brunch to movies worth crying through. However you’re spending the day, may it be filled with connection and the people who make it meaningful.
Happy Mother’s Day!
