Green Tip
Please enjoy the following eco-friendly tidbit brought to you by Friends of the Environment:
The osprey, also called river hawk and fish hawk, is a diurnal, fish-eating bird of prey. It is a large gray and brown raptor reaching more than 2 feet in length and nearly 6 feet across the wings. The ospreys build large nests in locations near a body of water that provides an adequate food supply, and locally can be seen along the Roaring Fork and Crystal Rivers. As its other common names suggest, the osprey's diet consists almost exclusively of fish. The osprey and owls are the only raptors whose outer toe is reversible, allowing them to grasp their prey with two toes in front and two behind. This is particularly helpful when they grab slippery fish. The Colorado Rocky Mountain School has a fun and addictive(!), live osprey webcam. Read the story of the webcam and watch these amazing birds at: CRMS Osprey Camera I A must visit the page

Recreational Vehicle Storage
Many of our community members own all sorts of recreation vehicles and other outdoor toys. We are noticing more of these types of vehicles parked in RVR neighborhoods in recent weeks.
As a reminder, the Third Amendment to the RVR Master Declaration, Section 3.16, restricts parking of these types of vehicles in the Master Common areas or homesites except for temporary loading and unloading during daylight hours.

We thank you for your cooperation.
