Answer the Call – Volunteer for the June 14th RPAC Telethon
This is a unique time in real estate as inflation concerns, supply chain delays and more are causing pressures on both our profession and our clients. And then there is the significant impact that government regulations and legislation continue to have on real estate - like use and occupancy inspections, increases to transfer taxes, and protecting the independent contractor status.
Fortunately for that, we have the
REALTORS® Political Action Committee – RPAC - to help elect candidates that support and advocate on behalf of homeownership at EVERY level of government. It’s one of the best benefits of REALTOR® membership, and we all need to support it.
As REALTOR® and Affiliate members, we should be champions for RPAC
AND understand the crucial role it plays in protecting our industry, your clients and your bottom line. Remember that through RPAC, we can help elect officials who will work with us on our most important issues, not based on partisan affiliation.
On Wednesday June 14, the Association will host its annual RPAC telethon, and WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT! There are two ways you can help:
1. Consider volunteering a few hours at the June 14th Telethon to reach out to fellow members and hopefully gain their RPAC support. There will be lunch available and if you are able to obtain 10 investments, you’ll earn a $75 certificate towards education at the Association’s School, or towards your MCE Season Pass!
2. OR, if reached out to, simply make or increase your RPAC investment that day.
