Fire Ban Lifted

On July 24, Jefferson County Sheriff Jeff Shrader lifted the temporary Stage 2 Fire Ban for Jefferson County and reinstated temporary Stage 1 Fire Restrictions. Click the link below for details about Fire Restrictions.

Mill Levy Information

At its July 25 Board meeting, the Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District Board gave staff direction to notify Jefferson County that the Metropolitan District may coordinate an election in November for the purposes of asking the community for an increased mill levy. The Board will discuss the mill levy issue further at its Aug. 21 meeting. If you have any questions, contact District Manager Melissa Daruna at melissad@kcranch.org or 303-979-1876, ext. 136.

Bat with Rabies

A bat found in the Willowbrook area north of Ken-Caryl Ranch and west of Mount Lindo Park tested positive for rabies on July 24, 2018. If you came in contact with the bat, you are at risk of being exposed to rabies. Contact your medical provider as soon as possible to receive immediate medical treatment.
