| Vamvoudakis Named Editor-in-Chief of the Aerospace Science and Technology Journal |
Professor Kyriakos G. Vamvoudakis has been appointed editor-in-chief of the Aerospace Science and Technology Journal, published by Elsevier. The highly-regarded aerospace engineering journal presents peer-reviewed articles regarding aerospace research with topics on the design, control, and manufacturing of aircraft, helicopters, missiles, launchers, and satellites.

| Georgia Tech Launches Historic Scholarship Fundraising Challenge |
On Jan. 8, Georgia Tech announced the launch of the Invest in the Best Scholarship Challenge, a new campaign initiative designed to secure $50 million in endowed support for undergraduate scholarships for students of superior talent with financial need. The highest priority of Transforming Tomorrow: The Campaign for Georgia Tech is supporting our students and their successes.Â

| AE Lecturer Kelly Griendling received a 2024 Georgia Tech Course Instruction Opinion Survey (CIOS) Award. She was recognized for teaching in AE 1601: Introduction to AE, in the College of Engineering Large Classes category.
Graduate student instructors are not eligible for an CIOS award, but AE graduate student Sriram Parthasarathy Kalathoor, was congratulated for his CIOS scores for AE 3030: Aerodynamics, which compared to the winners.
Faculty members who made the CIOS Honor Roll were praised by students for their care, respect, enthusiasm, and generating interest in their particular subject matter.Â
