The work of Wisconsin 4-H volunteers is continuous. Every day a volunteer is ensuring 4-H experiences are available to youth in Brown county. These experiences are essential not only to youth experiencing positive relationships with a caring adult, but also to making communities stronger.
Thank you volunteers! We couldn't provide positive support to the youth in our community without your big hearts and hard work.
Happy Volunteer Appreciation Week!

Game Day 2026: Sinking Shots for a Cause |
On Saturday, April 18, 2026, our youth brought the energy to Game Day 2026, competing in both 3-on-3 basketball and bean bag tournaments. This event is more than just a game—it raises vital funds to help offset the costs of Educational Experiences that our youth will be going on this year.
A massive thank you to everyone who showed up, whether you were sinking shots or cheering from the sidelines!

This week, our Cloverbuds had a fantastic time learning from the NEW Master Gardeners at the STEM Innovation Center while enjoying the beautiful spring weather. They discovered that plants have life cycles just like humans—and explored this through hands-on fun!
The kids planted their very own seeds, including peas, marigolds, coleus, and even a spider plant.

The Challenge: Pick a recipe in your category, prepare it at home, and bring it to the event along with a recipe card.
Show It Off: Set up your dish just like you’re serving it to a guest—think placemats, napkins, and your favorite plate!
The Judging: Don’t be nervous! Our judges just want to hear what you learned, why you picked your recipe, and what your favorite part was. It’s all about building confidence and having fun.
