Join us for a fun-filled afternoon at NESA! Members are invited to bring along their family and friends to enjoy a lively day of games, activities, and music.

Enjoy a full day of fun with lawn games, a bouncy castle, crafts, a scavenger hunt, live music, face painting, and a caricature artist. Activities will be both indoors and outdoors, so dress for the weather and don’t forget to bring your lawn chair!

The Café will be open, offering specials and fun food options. Please note that attendees are responsible for purchasing their own food. Come out, connect, and celebrate summer with your NESA community!

Tickets: $5 per group, one NESA member can register a group of up to five guests. Purchase tickets here (listed under special events), by visiting the front desk, or give us a call at 780-496-6969. Tickets are non-refundable.

Members and their guests are welcome to drop in and purchase tickets on the day of the event.

Friday, June 26, 2026 | 7pm-10pm

Get ready for a night of music, laughter, and friendly competition at Pub Night: Music Bingo! Instead of numbers, you’ll listen for songs as you mark your bingo card. Sing along, test your music knowledge, and enjoy a fun evening with friends.

The café will be open with a limited menu, so you can grab a bite while you play. Bingo begins promptly at 7:30pm, so be sure to arrive on time to participate. The game runs approximately two hours.

Tickets: $15 in advance | $20 at the door. Includes 2 Bingo cards and a drink ticket. Purchase tickets here, by visiting the front desk, or give us a call at 780-496-6969. Tickets are non-refundable.

Browse a great selection of gently loved books, with puzzles and jewellery also available. Items are restocked daily so there is always something new to discover! All proceeds support NESA’s fundraising.

Experience the rich traditions of Ukrainian culture at the 53rd Annual Pysanka Festival in Vegreville. Browse the vibrant Yarmarok Market and Farmers’ Market for authentic handmade Ukrainian goods, and enjoy attractions including the Pioneer Village, Music Tent, Beer Gardens, Petting Zoo, and portions of the Opening Ceremonies. Savor freshly prepared Ukrainian cuisine and baked goods, with plenty of delicious treats to enjoy during the day or take home.

Festival admission is free. Your NESA bus fee includes a complimentary NESA-branded tote bag for shopping, along with a water bottle and granola bar for the journey. Festival activities are self-guided and drop-in, allowing you to explore at your own pace. For those who prefer a more social experience, NESA staff will also lead a group tour through the festival highlights and amenities.

Early Bird Rate: $90 (Until June 5 by 4pm)
Regular Rate: $100 (Until June 12 by 4pm)

The results of NESA’s 2025 Member Satisfaction Survey have been compiled and are now available for members to review. The survey measures member satisfaction with our facilities, services, programs, special events, and communications.

Did you know that NESA sells grocery gift cards for Sobeys, Safeway, and Save-On Foods, as well as gift cards for Kuhlmann’s Greenhouse Garden Market? For every gift card purchased through NESA, our seniors’ recreation centre earns a small percentage from each sale. Those funds help support various seniors fundraising initiatives and programs at NESA.
