Holiday Open House - Dec. 2

We invite you to join us for our annual NAM and MFN Holiday Open House on Thursday, Dec. 2. Come tour our new office space and join us for an evening of refreshments and celebration throughout the office and on our deck overlooking the Nashville skyline!

Medical Cannabis: What Clinicians Should Know

The Tennessee General Assembly has debated the issue of medical cannabis extensively for the last few sessions. During this virtual meeting, members will learn the political and medical status of cannabis in our state.

Autry Parker, MD, Director of Interventional Pain Services, Memphis VA Medical Center, will help members understand the regulatory landscape, the science and treatment uses and questions you may encounter. This high-level discussion will orient physicians to medical cannabis in Tennessee.

Legislative Reception Recap

NAM welcomed members on Tuesday, Nov. 16, for our legislative reception. The weather was beautiful, and we were able to enjoy a majority of our time on the outdoor deck. Thank you to Rep. John Ray Clemmons and Sen. Jeff Yarbro for attending to greet our members and answer a variety of questions on topics from COVID policies to healthcare access. The TMA legislative team also joined us to share important topics for the 2022 legislative session. Thank you to all who participated in this lively event!

We have recently undergone a significant overhaul of our member database system that NAM and TMA share, converting to a new technology platform after 19 years. This upgrade will enhance our abilities to provide better member service and online access.

One unfortunate result of this changeover is the need for members to reset their usernames and passwords on our website.

You should have received an email from TMA on Tuesday, Nov. 2, with the subject line: "TMA has made some upgrades that require your attention!"

This email will contain your new username, password and instructions on how to log in for the first time on the new platform. If you have any problems or questions, please contact us at 615-712-6236.
