| Call for Proposals for the 2025 – 2026 Faculty Innovation Grants |
The Teaching, Learning and Technology Center (TLTC), in partnership with the Faculty Senate IT Committee and the Center for Faculty Development, invites full-time faculty to apply for the 2025–26 Faculty Innovation Grants (FIGs). These grants provide funding and recognition for creative projects that advance teaching and learning across disciplines. Proposals are due October 24, 2025. Seton Hall hosts its Graduate Open House on Tuesday, October 15 at 6 p.m. in Bethany Hall. Prospective students are invited to come and learn about our graduate programs, meet faculty, and explore the many opportunities that a Seton Hall education provides. Cybersecurity Forum to Feature Industry Leaders |
As part of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, Seton Hall will host a Cybersecurity Forum on October 28 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Bethany Hall. Sponsored by the Cybersecurity Advisory Council, the event will convene leading experts, including Steve Ward ’98, Katherine Wetmur, Keith O’Sullivan, and Spencer Thompson, for a discussion on emerging trends and challenges in cybersecurity, followed by a networking reception. Time Machines Applications due October 11
|
Applications are open for the Archives and Special Collections' Time Machines project! This annual program invites five Seton Hall students to create projects centered around our archival documents, rare books, art, and artifacts. Participants work with a faculty advisor and will receive a $1,000 stipend upon project completion. Details and application (due October 10th) are on the Time Machines project website.

Timothy Fortin from ICSST selected as 2025 Researcher of the Year
|
Timothy Fortin, Ph.D., from the Department of Philosophical Theology, has significantly enriched student understanding of human sexual difference through his research and teaching rooted in the Catholic Intellectual Tradition. His recent monograph, “On the Nature of Human Sexual Difference: A Symposium” (Springer, 2024), has been recognized for its contribution to the field. With additional publications and guest lectures, Professor Fortin continues to advance important conversations at the intersection of philosophy, psychology, and theology, providing students with meaningful engagement on complex and timely issues.

2026 BIG EAST Undergraduate Research Poster Symposium
|
The Office of the Provost is looking for five student applicants who will represent Seton Hall at the 2026 BIG EAST Undergraduate Research Poster Symposium. Selected students will be supported for overnight travel to present their research at Madison Square Garden on Saturday March 14, 2026. As an added bonus, all competing students will receive one complimentary ticket to the Men’s Basketball Conference Championship Game held in the evening. Winners of the competition will be announced at the game and will receive medals. To apply for the award, students should complete a brief application by November 4, 2025.
