UO EVENTS
  • Fill the seats and cheer on your Ducks at the Oregon soccer game at Papé Field tonight at 6:00 and the Oregon volleyball game at Matthew Knight Arena Friday, Sept. 27, at 6:00 p.m.
  • Discover many of the opportunities you can take on as a Duck and score free food and swag at the Flock Party on the EMU Green on Friday, Sept. 27, 8:00–10:00 p.m.
  • Come together to meet new friends, learn new crafts, and win prizes during the EMU Student Welcome at the O Desk on the ground floor on Saturday, Sept. 28, 3:00–5:00 p.m.
  • Head downtown for the Eugene BRiGHT Parade and AfterParty with tons of neon lights, live electronic music, light-up outfits, and food, of course. Swing by on Saturday, Sept. 28, 7:00–11:00 p.m. The parade begins and ends at 8th Avenue and Pearl Street.
  • Learn about what the Outdoor Program has to offer and sign up for free trips at their Open House in the Rental Barn (1225 East 18th Avenue) on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 5:00–7:30 p.m.

  • Welcome, new students! Ring in your first year as a Duck with a packed schedule of Week of Welcome events.
  • Check out the fall term Duck Corps service teams. Join a team to make an impact in the Eugene-Springfield community.
  • Create your free Handshake account to search through thousands of on- and off-campus work opportunities and take advantage of the quick application process.
  • Ever wondered what it would be like to live in a LEGO world? View Duck graduate Stephen Mack's spectacular LEGO replica of campus in the Ford Alumni Center lobby, and you may never see campus the same.
REMINDERS FROM THE REGISTRAR
  • Beginning Friday, Sept. 27, undergraduate students will be able to register in DuckWeb for more than eighteen credits—and more than sixteen credits for graduate students.
  • Registration for non-degree seeking students opens Saturday, Sept. 28, if the selected course doesn’t have a waitlist. Registration for courses with an active waitlist opens after waitlists close on Wednesday, Oct. 2.
  • All course waitlists will close on Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 9:00 a.m. Any pending audit or non-degree seeking student registration will be processed at this time.
HEALTH AND WELLNESS
  • Ensure your healthcare expenses are covered for this academic year with the optional Student Health Benefits Plan. Open enrollment ends on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
