If the last year and a half taught us anything, it’s that connection is the lifeblood of recovery. As a community, we rose to the occasion tremendously, maintaining and growing our sense of connection in creative ways even when we needed to be physically distanced.
On August 7th, at long last, we were together again. The spirit of Magic Mountain was reinvigorated at the 2021 Alumni Reunion, where alumni, staff, families, and friends gathered to celebrate recovery and remember how far this journey has taken us.
I was truly inspired to see so many of you catching up over lunch, enjoying the games and activities, and attending the revitalizing Recharge Workshops. Even those who joined us virtually from all over the country benefitted from the transformative workshops and events.
Until we are together again, I know we will continue our connection and keep the momentum going. We can persevere in challenging times.
