Student ID Clarification

Student IDs are issued for free every two years - on students' freshmen and junior years. If your student is not entering their freshman or junior year, please remind them to keep their student ID over the summer so it can be used again next year. If it is lost, there will be a $15 fee to replace it.

Emergency Alert Contact

This spring we have found it necessary to use our RAVE emergency alert system for emergencies, weather delays and other important information. If you are not receiving RAVE alerts, please login, confirm your contact information and choose your notification preferences.

Welcome Our Incoming Families

Would you consider volunteering as a Welcomer for our new Valor students and their parents in the fall? Connecting with current families is the best way to make the transition to the Valor Family easier and helpful.
If you're interested, you can learn more and sign up here by May 13.

Final Transcripts

The college counseling department will automatically send your final transcripts to the college you will be attending, as indicated in Naviance, by June 15.  You do not need to request this.  If you are attending a college other than the one you originally indicated in Naviance, please update it to the correct one and notify your counselor.

Transferring AP Credit

If you took an AP exam and hope to get credit in college, you must request your official score report through www.collegeboard.org. You must set up a collegeboard account in order to do this. The scores will be released by mid-July.

Transferring Dual Credit

If you took dual credit at Valor through CCU and hope to transfer credit to your college, you must request a transcript from them.  Please visit www.ccu.edu/transcript and scroll down to "Dual Credit Students."

Notify Your Colleges

Please contact all the colleges who offered you admission and let them know your decision as to whether or not you will be enrolling.

College Application Information

All rising seniors and their parents should have received an email on Thursday, May 2, with a link to critical information regarding the College Application Process. If you have any questions, contact your student's counselor directly.

Last Day to Shop

Come shop in person at the Eagles Nest Store for the last time on Thursday, May 16.
Over the summer, shop at the Eagles Nest online and have orders shipped directly to you for FREE!
