| Lilly Conference Proposal Submission Deadline Extended |
We thank all those Miami faculty and staff who submitted a proposal to present a session at the Original Lilly Conference on College Teaching, November 21-23 at Armstrong Student Center. If you weren’t able to submit by the June 17 deadline, good news: Proposal submission has been extended to July 5! Submit your proposal soon to ensure peer review consideration.

New Journal Issue Just Published! |
The latest issue of Miami’s peer-reviewed Journal on Excellence in College Teaching (Vol. 35.2, 2024) includes studies on teaching antiracism, the effects of credit vs. no-credit quizzes on student performance, and interprofessional collaboration through faculty learning communities. The issue features an article by Miami instructors Dee Kinney (Education & Society), Karen Brown (Nursing), and Jeffrey Kuznekoff (Interdisciplinary & Communication Studies) titled “Learning During COVID: Technology, Time Management, and Learner-Empowered Competence.” Note: You must be on campus or logged in through VPN to access the issue.
