Bond Projects Update

Drywall was installed in what was the Ranch House A/V Room (top photo). The room, combined with the former Map Room, will become a new multi-purpose event space. The middle photo shows the floors of the Community Center's racquetball courts that are now raised to be even with the rest of the lower level of the building. The two courts are being converted into weight-training rooms. The bottom photo shows the concrete slab foundation for the addition at Dakota Lodge. Framing for the walls of the addition starts this week.

Input Sought for Proposed Trail Use Guidelines

Have you ever wondered what proper trail etiquette is when passing someone on the trails or whether it is appropriate to use a trail when it’s muddy? The Ken-Caryl Ranch Open Space and Parks Use Rules do not address these issues so the Ken-Caryl Ranch Open Space Committee has drafted Trail Use Guidelines to help establish proper behavior when using trails. Residents are encouraged to take a look and provide feedback before a final draft is presented to the Master Association Board. These guidelines are not enforceable rules but rather an educational tool to help protect open space visitors and resources. Please send your comments to Open Space Manager Sean Warren at seanw@kcranch.org.
