Infectious Disease Control & Environmental Hazard Mitigation Policy
On October 27, 2021 the RVRMA Executive Board of Directors approved the “Infectious Disease Control and Environmental Hazard Mitigation Policy.” The purpose of this policy is to protect and promote the health, safety and well-being of the River Valley Ranch community. The policy covers infectious diseases and other environmental hazards, including COVID-19.
The policy applies to all of the RVRMA common areas, facilities and RVRMA sponsored events at other locations, such as The Old Thompson Barn, across from the Ranch House. The policy also applies to the entire RVR community, including members and their guests, employees, vendors, and other persons who use the covered facilities or attend any covered event. Click here to view the Policy.
Beginning Monday, November 22, 2021, all individuals 5 years or older will need to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to enter the Ranch House without a mask. If you cannot show proof of immunization, you will be required to wear a mask. Acceptable forms of proof are:
• Vaccine certificate • Digital pass via smartphone application • Printout of COVID-19 vaccination record • Digital photo of vaccination card or record
When you show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, we will ask you to sign an Acknowledgement, Consent, and Release – Medical Information form. This form is available on our website where you can submit it electronically. Click here to fill out the form online. The form will also be available at the front desk. Once you have shown proof of vaccination, you’ll never have to show it again. We will store your confirmation of vaccination in a private and protected data base. We ask for your patience at the Front Desk as we implement this change.

New text messaging system!
When there’s an emergency in the community – like power outages, road closures, or even a mountain lion sighting – the news is immediate.
You should know about these emergencies right away. Studies show that many people take up to several days to view their e-mail, but almost 90 percent of all mobile text messages are opened within 90 seconds.
That’s why we’re using a simple emergency alert system based on text messages.
Take a moment to enroll in our NEW text messaging system. We’ll use this system to send out everything from “bear in the neighborhood” to event information.
Scan the QR code above, text rvr to 866-665-0723.
Please note, this messaging system is one-way. Do not reply to the texts you receive, we will not see them.

2022 Budget Draft Ready for Viewing
The proposed RVRMA budget for 2022 is now ready for you to see. As described in a "View From the Board" that went to RVR property owners on Wednesday, the proposed budget responds to significant cost and inflationary pressures, and results in increased monthly dues.
Over the past 15 years, previous Boards and management teams have done their best to hold dues increases to a minimum, but in today’s economic environment, that’s no longer a sustainable approach. As a result, the 2022 budget will be an accurate reflection of what it actually takes to run a world-class community like RVR. Click here to see a summary of the proposed budget. And, click here to see what you’ll pay next year, depending on where you live at RVR. Click here to read the “View From the Board,” in case you missed it earlier this week.
- Here are the next steps in the budget approval process:
The Board is scheduled to vote on the proposed budget at next Wednesday’s monthly meeting. - You should receive, by Dec. 3, an e-mail with a link to the budget ballot. Those ballots are due no later than Dec. 15.
- On Dec. 15 at the Board’s monthly meeting, results of the budget vote will be announced, and the RVRMA 2022 budget will be formally ratified.

Holiday Lighting
Per the RVR Holiday Decoration and Lighting Policy: holiday lighting and decorations, including yard ornaments, can be placed on or around your residence seven days before Thanksgiving, which is Thursday, Nov. 18 this year.
Please keep wildlife safety in mind while hanging lights and decorations this holiday season. We have received reports of a large bull elk in RVR with decorative lights hanging from his antlers. Consider wrapping lights and decorations tightly around posts and trees. Hanging lights should be at least 6 feet off the ground and fastened at the ends. It is also helpful to avoid draping lights around bushes or on trees. Thank you for doing your part to keep our local wildlife safe.

Group Fitness Cancellation Policy
On Monday, Nov. 8, a new group fitness and cancellation policy went into effect. Many of our group fitness classes are currently at capacity or have waitlists. Starting Monday, members can book classes up to 5 days in advance. If you’re unable to attend class, we ask that you cancel at least 12 hours in advance, as this will allow one of your neighbors the greatest opportunity to have your spot! We understand that the unexpected can happen, so you’ll have one “freebie.” Upon the second no-show or cancellation that is less than 12 hours prior to class, you will not be able to register for classes ahead of time for a period of one week.
We will continue to add classes to our group fitness schedule to accommodate as many homeowners as possible.
