End Animal Addiction Studies at the U of M
The Animal Rights Coalition's No Pain in My Name campaign and Progress for Science are joining together for an on-campus protest on Thursday, February 5 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at the University of Minnesota against the work of Dr. Marilyn Carroll. For the past 30 years, Carroll has been forcibly addicting primates, rats, and mice to meth, heroin, nicotine, and alcohol. Funded by the National Institutes of Health, which is funded by your tax dollars, Carroll has received about $10,000,000 in funding over the last decade. Signs will be provided but feel free to make your own. RSVP at Minnesota AR Meetup or on Facebook. We will meet at the Moos Tower entrance off of the Washington Ave. Mall.

Note: This is a coalition event of two distinct groups. The protest will be fully in accordance with the law. The organizers of this event do not support trespassing or other types of disruptive activities.

An Easy Way to Support ARC
Support the Animal Rights Coalition and save big on your purchases at the Herberger's family of stores on Community Days, Friday, February 27 and Saturday, February 28. It's a win-win for everyone and all you have to do is purchase a coupon book containing $500 worth of coupons for $5.00 in person at Ethique Nouveau or online.

If we sell enough books we qualify to be in store during Herberger's Community Days and to receive a portion of the store profits that day. We were a big hit at last year's event with our canine mascots and raised a significant sum for ARC. Depending on where you live, you can use the coupon books at Herberger's Younkers, Carson's, The Boston Store, Bon-Ton, Bergner's, and Elder-Beerman. Please help spread the word to your family and friends about this fundraiser to help animals.
Dedications
Thank you to those who remembered a special person or animal with a donation to ARC. It's a lovely way to pay tribute to someone.
