There has been quite a bit of discussion at recent Board meetings around TABOR (Taxpayer Bill of Rights) and the Gallagher Amendment. One of the Metropolitan District's Board members wrote an article explaining TABOR and Gallagher and how they impact your property taxes. Check it out below!

Jefferson County Road and Bridge will be doing concrete work in the Valley on the White Oak Drive loop and side streets off White Oak (with the exception of Desert Willow). The work is tentatively scheduled for the week of July 30. Notification flyers will be posted on doors advising residents of the upcoming work. National Night Out is a series of nationwide celebrations held on the first Tuesday in August each year; in 2018, it is Tuesday, Aug. 7. The purpose of National Night Out is to give neighbors an opportunity to get together in a setting close to home.
