Protecting the Jewels of the Night: Firefly Life, Sex, and Death
Fireflies are surely among our greatest ambassadors for Earth's natural magic. For centuries, their ethereal beauty has sparked wonder, inspiring poets and artists alike. On Thursday, April 27, at 12 noon–1 p.m.,this talk with Professor Emerita Sara Lewis will look back on her research into the secrets of firefly sex and the current global efforts aimed at conserving these charismatic insects. Free pizza will be served! This event is cosponsored by the Environmental Studies Program and the Department of Biology.

Unpacking White Christian Nationalism Event Series
How does white Christian nationalism threaten a multifaith and multiracial democracy? The Interfaith Ambassador team, University Chaplaincy, and the Department of Religion invite Dr. Anthea Butler to deliver a lecture on her book White Evangelical Racism: The Politics of Morality in America.

Meet the Goddard Chapel Organ
Ever wonder about the Goddard Chapel organ? Want to know what a pipe and a stop are? Want to hear a demonstration? On Sunday, April 30, come join the University Chaplaincy Music Director Suzie Cartreine and meet the organ! Suzie will introduce fun facts, play for the audience, and let you get up close to this 140-year-old instrument. No RSVP is necessary; all are welcome. Session 1 is 2–2:30 p.m., and Session 2 is 3–3:30 p.m.

Last Undergraduate Admissions Jumbo Day
On April 24, get excited to see admitted students and their families exploring the Medford/Somerville campus. The dining centers will be very busy at 11:45 a.m.–1:30 p.m., so we encourage you to dine outside those hours. If you see any admitted students across campus who need directions, don’t hesitate to lend a helping hand!
