JUNETEENTH UNITYFEST is a national livestream event conceived by Grammy-nominated African-American artist Robert Randolph, that will bring together people of all backgrounds in a day of unity to commemorate and celebrate Juneteenth and Black culture with musical performances, inspiring remarks, films, comedy, storytelling, and appearances by civic leaders and influencers.

Have Been Showing Throughout the Entirety of the Ali Festival, Still Time to Watch!

At the heart of this year's Ali Festival has been community screenings of City of Ali, a documentary that captures some of the stories and events that occurred in Muhammad's hometown of Louisville, KY during the week between his passing on June 3, 2016, and his memorial, one week later. Showings of the documentary are taking place up through the last day of the Ali Festival, June 13th.

The digital museum and archives was launched in partnership with HistoryIT, and was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through a $50,000 grant. We're excited to make available items in our collection to online audiences everywhere.

Muhammad & Leroy: A Friendship in Art Digital Exhibit

In recognition of Muhammad Ali and LeRoy Neiman’s longstanding friendship, and to commemorate what marked Mr. Neiman’s 100th birthday on June 8th, the Center launched Muhammad & LeRoy: A Friendship in Art digital exhibit.

Join us for our annual Muhammad Ali Athletes & Social Change Forum! This year's theme is "Collective Action and Amplifying the Political Power of Athletes and Sport." This year, we seek to give space and voice to collective action and the political power of athletes and sport. The Forum will focus on engaging sport to further equality and inclusion, using sport to promote justice and fight injustice, and mobilizing and organizing the political power of athletes and sport. 
The Muhammad Ali Center Athletes and Social Change Forum is organized in collaboration with Eli Wolff of the Power of Sport Lab, and Dr. Mary Hums of the University of Louisville.
