Thank you to every parent who took the time to complete the Parent Satisfaction Survey for the 2025–26 academic year — it truly means so much to us. We are currently gathering and reviewing each response, because your experiences and perspectives are at the heart of everything we do at Lipscomb. Your feedback helps us continue to create a community where students and families feel supported and valued.
It’s an exciting start to summer here on campus! Student Life has just wrapped up five New Student Orientations. We loved meeting our newest Bisons and their families on campus.
In July and August, we are so looking forward to seeing many of you at our Summer Send-Off events happening across the United States. Continue to enjoy your summer and know that campus is ready, our team is energized, and we look forward to having our Bisons back together on campus in August. Here's to a wonderful year ahead!

Meet Peter Fescoe, General Manager
I'm excited to bring two decades of food service leadership, culinary experience and a deep commitment to creating exceptional dining experiences for students, families, faculty and staff! I have been a general manager with Sodexo for over eight years, splitting my time between healthcare, seniors and campus dining. My career started at an Irish pub in Newport, Rhode Island, at the age of 18. From there, I continued my journey by attending Johnson and Wales University, studying culinary arts. Through my various roles, I have been able to build a strong foundation in food service. One of my goals is to fortify the foundation already in place and elevate tour offerings across the dining venues.
For me, it's not just what's on the plate but the whole experience for students, families and staff. The look and feel are critical to success before we serve our first plate. I'm excited to join a passionate team and the Lipscomb family. As we get to work this summer, another goal is to learn, collaborate and build momentum for the fall. As we strengthen our team, we're working on setting standards for consistent quality and service and exploring new opportunities for innovation across our campus.

Summer on Campus: Big things are coming this fall
While students are away, Lipscomb is hard at work making campus even better for the year ahead! This summer features an exciting wave of improvements across campus — from a $5 million renovation of Fanning Hall (with new furniture, updated bathrooms, fresh paint, a new HVAC system and a refreshed courtyard) to climate control upgrades at Elam Hall, a stunning new weight room at the Student Activities Center and a complete makeover of the Lipscomb Bookstore. Athletic facilities are getting love, too, with new roofs at Allen Arena and McQuiddy Gym, and energy-efficient lighting at the stadium and tennis center,
These investments reflect Lipscomb's deep commitment to providing your student with a vibrant, comfortable, and inspiring place to learn, grow, and thrive. We can't wait for your family to see all the exciting changes when you return to campus this fall!

Big things also are happening on Granny White Pike
The retail center just across from campus is buzzing with exciting developments! The Well Coffeehouse has already completed a beautiful expansion, more than doubling its seating to create a bright, welcoming space perfect for studying, meetings and catching up with friends. And two new eateries are on their way before fall semester kicks off! Victor Tango will bring fresh, house-made burritos and bowls to the neighborhood, while Nashville Pie Company — a beloved local gourmet brand — will open its very first storefront, offering delicious pies and frozen yogurt just steps from campus.
These new additions are a wonderful compliment to campus life, giving students, families and the Green Hills community even more ways to gather, connect and enjoy great food together.
