Registration for the Spring 2024 semester will begin on the below dates at 7:00am:
Monday, November 6: Seniors and priority registration groups (90 or more credits)
Thursday, November 9: Juniors (60 or more credits)
Monday, November 13: Sophomores (30 or more credits)
Thursday, November 16: First-years (less than 30 credits)

Research Experiences for Undergraduates through National Science Foundation |
NSF funds a large number of research opportunities for undergraduate students through its REU Sites program. An REU Site consists of a group of ten or so undergraduates who work in the research programs of the host institution. Each student is associated with a specific research project, where he/she works closely with the faculty and other researchers. Students are granted stipends and, in many cases, assistance with housing and travel. Undergraduate students supported with NSF funds must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States. Scholarship Opportunities |
|
|
SMART scholars, through the Department of Defense (DoD), offers scholarships for undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students currently pursuing a degree in one of the 24 STEM disciplines. SMART scholars receive full tuition, annual stipends, and guaranteed employment with the DoD after graduation. The scholarship is due December 15. Additional information is available here.

Garden Club of America Scholarships |
Multiple scholarships and fellowships available in the areas of environmental science and engineering, botany, conservation, and ocean engineering. Most scholarships are listed with a deadline of February 1. More information and the applications are available here.

Green Bowl 2023: Visual Sustainability Competition |
This is a sustainability competition that parallels football season. There's a $1,000 prize for the winner, and top competitors will be offered sustainability internships. The deadline is November 10. Additional information is here.

IRCI-MNY 2023 Scholarship |
ICRI Metro New York Chapter aims to provide education, networking, and leadership to improve the quality of repair, restoration, and protection/preservation of concrete and material systems. Each year, the chapter solicits applications for two (2) $2,500 scholarships to award to deserving students in the engineering, restoration, and construction management fields. Deadline of November 22. More information here.

The CEOE Department will be hosting an AMP Information Session. The session will cover the requirements and overview of the Accelerated Master's Program, as well as a discussion of graduate programs within CEOE. RSVP here by November 3.

An introduction to the Process of Construction Development with Lehrer Cumming's industry leader and Stevens alumni, Jason Tirri. This seminar will provide those attending with a look into the type of planning and logistics that go into construction development.

The Hugo Neu Corporation Sustainability Seminar Series, organized by the MS program in Sustainability Management, is an effort to connect our students to professionals in the field of sustainability. This is a weekly series sponsored by Hugo Neu Corporation and jointly sponsored by Geosyntec Consultants. Cosponsors are Brown and Caldwell, Lozier Inc., The Catalyst Group, and H2M Architects and Engineers. The seminars happen every Tuesday between 5-6pm via Zoom.
