Enroll your school in the new and improved Healthy Champions Program!

Enrollment for our FREE Healthy Champions program is NOW OPEN for schools K-12 across Pennsylvania for the 2024/2025 school year! Penn State PRO Wellness, in partnership with The GIANT Company, provides enrolled schools with free health education materials at the beginning of the school year and encourages schools to host signature events to help teach youth and their families how to bring healthier choices to life. 

To enroll, a school representative must complete the new online assessment. Immediately after completing the assessment, each enrolled school receives a personalized Star Score Report based on the reported wellness initiatives in multiple areas of school wellness, including physical activity, nutrition, mental wellness, health services and health culture.

The Healthy Champions Team listened to your feedback and made updates to the assessment and program to meet the current needs of the schools.  Read more about the 10th Anniversary of the Healthy Champions program and the project evaluation here: 

School Champions who enroll by May 15th will be eligible to win a 4 pack of Hershey Park Tickets!  

Enrollment will close on June 28, 2024, but the assessment will remain open as a tool to re-measure your school's health throughout the year.

During April, the American Heart Association celebrates Move More Month.  This month-long awareness campaign aims to encourage all Americans to take part in more physical activity and on a more regular basis incorporating it in to your daily routines. 

A great way to add movement to your routine is by walking! Lace-up your shoes and get moving this spring!
