Welcome to the New Co-Chairs for the King County Medical Society Public Health Committee

The next meeting is in the first half of December 2022. Please join us.
Contact Shurlon Brathwaite at sbrath@kcmsociety.org to get Zoom information.
We are very excited to announce new Co-Chairs for our Public Health Committee. We also want to thank the previous chair of the committee, Dr. Amish J. Dave, for all the amazing work he did as head of the committee.
Reshma Patel: Dr. Reshma Patel is currently a Global Health Fellow at the University of Washington. Dr. Patel recently graduated from a family medicine residency in Berwyn, IL, and trained at MacNeal Hospital, a part of Loyola Medicine. Dr. Patel's primary interests include working with underserved populations, women's health, and infectious disease. She served as the Community Outreach Chair on the Diversity and Inclusion committee in residency and provided care to those struggling with homelessness with Loyola Street Medicine. Dr. Patel is new to Seattle (originally from Southern California) and is obsessed with the amount of hiking available in the region. Hiking almost every weekend, her favorite hike has to be Lake 22!
Nancy Connolly: Dr. Nancy Connolly is fellowship trained in Infectious Disease and Integrative Medicine and board certified in Addiction and Internal Medicine. Dr. Connolly is an Internal Medicine primary care doctor with over 20 years of experience treating patients in the outpatient setting. Throughout her career, she has worked with patients across the socioeconomic spectrum, beginning in a dedicated HIV clinic in Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh AIDS Center for Treatment, and spending 10 years at Virginia Mason, where she served as the Medical Director of the Lynnwood Regional Medical Center for 5 years. She currently works for the University of Washington, reaching out to homeless people.

Our Excellence in Medicine Awards Gala was a SOLD OUT success, with over 280 physicians, scientists, and community leaders joining us for an evening of celebration to recognize the outstanding contributions of physicians and community leaders in medicine.

The Gala provided a gourmet dinner, an exceptional program, and a raise the paddle opportunity.

Join us in November 2023 for your next opportunity to celebrate and/or sponsor at the KCMS Community Foundation Gala.

A very special THANK YOU to our sponsors who made this evening possible.
