We hope you had a wonderful break. Tufts Residential Life invites you to join us for the Pachyderm Place Furniture Fair this Wednesday, March 25, beginning at 11:45 a.m. in the Joyce Cummings Center (JCC) lobby. The fair will remain open through Friday, March 27 at 12 noon.

As we prepare for the opening of Pachyderm Place in 2027, two furniture vendors, Smarter Furnishings and University Loft, will be on site showcasing options for student apartments. Each collection has been thoughtfully curated to complement the building’s contemporary design and apartment layouts, while remaining aligned with the project’s budget.

This residence hall is being designed with you in mind, and that makes your voice essential in this process. The beds you’ll sleep in, the desks where you’ll study, the storage you’ll use, and the shared spaces where friendships are built will all shape your residential experience.

Light refreshments will be available on Wednesday starting at 11:45 a.m. During your visit, you’ll also be invited to complete a brief online survey. Your input will directly inform the final furniture selection for Pachyderm Place.
