Join us Wednesday, March 24 for the next edition of Alumni 101 with Amy Hallochak ’15, owner of Bernadine’s Designs, a hand-lettering and specialty gift business. She has a passion for making signs that spread joy and said it all started in her living center room! During this evening, Amy will be walking us through the fundamentals of faux-calligraphy which we will then apply to a canvas sign. We’ll ship the supplies to you, but space is limited!

Shannon Cohen, ’99 and ’01, principal of Shannon Cohen Inc., has now expanded her greeting card business from grocery stores, boutique shops, and other retailers throughout Michigan and 15 other states to add 1,700 Target retail stores to the list through March. Cohen, who earned a bachelor's degree in political science and a master's degree in public administration at GVSU, hopes the messages of her Tough Skin Soft Heart (TSSH) greeting cards will meet more people at their greatest point of need and give them hope during these uncertain times.

Take part in Laker Pride Day, a fun way for Lakers to share their love for their alma mater on social media! Every Thursday, GVSU posts a question asking about your time at GV to their Twitter page. If you reply, you'll have the chance to win a prize from the GVSU Laker Store.

It's been a championship-filled couple of weeks for four Laker teams. The Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving teams enjoyed great success at last month’s GLIAC Championships. The Laker Men won their seventh consecutive conference title while also eclipsing the all-time record for points. The Laker Women dominated their field of competition and set a new all-time conference record for points and for point margin of victory. This past weekend both the Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Teams enjoyed success sweeping their fourth consecutive GLIAC Championships.
