Thanksgiving Break

Online Classes Resume on Monday

Thanksgiving Break (no classes) runs today through Sunday, November 29. Online classes resume on Monday, November 30 with announcements at 8:45 a.m. No homework is due on Monday, November 30. Please note that all SAS offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday of this week.

Exams, Dec 7-11

Exams take place the week of December 7-11. The exam week schedule begins with a Reading Day on Monday, December 7. During this time teachers are available for extra help and may host review sessions via Zoom. These sessions are scheduled according to discipline. Exams take place Tuesday-Friday for students in grades 7-12. Thursday is the last exam for sixth grade students. During the exam periods, students will be logged into Zoom, and cameras will be required to be turned on. Exams will take a variety of forms, as usual, and will be designed for the online space.

Need Books for Next Semester?

Students beginning a new course second semester may need additional books. MBS, our online bookstore, is now open for book purchases. This will only apply to students in grades 10-12.

School Store Opens Online

The SAS School Store is now available online, too! View items now in anticipation of purchases being possible beginning on Saturday, Nov. 28. All profits go to support the ongoing mission of St. Andrew's-Sewanee. Questions? Requests? Contact store manager Lizzie Duncan StA '76.

SAS (Overnight) Summer Camp

July 2-18, 2021

Looking for a great gift idea? How about 17 fun-filled summer days on the Mountain for your favorite rising 5th-12th grader? Campers will select from a variety of music, art, farming, and outdoor adventure sessions. Instructors include faculty member Chris Monahan and SAS Outdoor Education & Place-Based Learning Coordinator Michael Short. View more information and registration.

Last Wednesday, Porter Neubauer '21 successfully completed his Board of Review to become Scout Troop 14's latest Eagle Scout. Porter's Court of Honor will take place this spring.
