To the Division of Student Affairs,
We are thrilled to resume our monthly Division of Student Affairs eNewsletter! This piece, distributed on the first Tuesday of each month of our academic year, is a place for us to share, connect and learn from one another. It’s a space to bring some of our amazing resources to the top of our inboxes, to celebrate recent events and to highlight our work — and most importantly, the people and departments that make our work possible! The distribution list is primarily our Division of Student Affairs staff members — more on submitting content enclosed.
Here are a few of my highlights:
-
In late October, we launched a new food blog, “Good Eats with Chancellor Martin & Dr. G.” You can read our first review here and follow along as we visit our local food scene.
-
Registrations for Coffee, Chai & Chat are now open. Please review the schedule and sign up for a time. These are open to anyone in our Division and provide an opportunity to connect with me and a small group of colleagues in an informal setting. On my events page, you’ll also notice an event request form to complete if you would like to request my presence — either to deliver remarks, or to stop by an event. Please submit this request for me, as well as for Chancellor Martin and Provost Wendland.
-
Our Division of Student Affairs Winter Warm Up is scheduled for Monday, December 19 from 3-4:30 p.m. in Holmes Lounge. This year, we will again be hosting a baked goods contest (with judges)! Please review this page and complete the information to be considered for this year’s competition.
Happy Reading!

Mental Health Services to offer rapid access counseling Zoom appointments for students |
Beginning November 28, Mental Health Services will allow students to schedule same day Zoom counseling appointments. This new scheduling process is designed to increase end of semester access to counseling appointments and was first implemented during the spring 2022 semester. Students will be able to schedule both return and new appointments with a counselor beginning 16 hours prior to the time they would like to be seen. To schedule an appointment, students will go to their Habif Student Portal (studenthealth.wustl.edu) and select Rapid Access Counseling Zoom Appointment.
