On Monday, we completed individual sessions with clients to set up alternate sites. We understand how inconvenient this extended outage has been, and we sincerely apologize. If you did not confirm an alternate site and would like one now, please contact us. Your alternate site is ready to activate today.
Online sites are just a start. Please view the following message from Jessica Billingsley, COO and Amy Poinsett, CEO:
Amy and Jessica, MJ Freeway
Below are details of extended support and resources.
1.  Site set up how-to
The alternate sites are new sites. You will want to quickly activate key functionality like batch tracking, label printing, locations, coupons, etc. You have multiple site set up resource options:
  • Please download our online resources organized by topic to quickly find step-by-step “how-to” for specific functionality.
  • For additional help, you can reach MJ Freeway Support. The Support team is working extended hours:
   8am to 8pm MST Mon-Fri
   10am to 7pm MST Sat-Sun
   Call: 1-888-932-6537 ext. 1
2.  Temporary staff for data entry
Many clients have sales records from the past week to enter into your MJ Freeway site. To make this easier for you, we are providing you with temporary staffing resources sourced by Faces Human Capital Management. MJ Freeway will cover costs for temporary staff to enter sales transactions of patients, customers, or vendors and any corresponding patient/customer and vendor records for the time-period between Jan 8 and Jan 18 into your MJ Freeway site. To schedule staffing resources, contact Faces at: caela@faceshcm.com or recruiting@faceshcm.com

3.  Recovering historical data
As mentioned before, the corruption from the attack impacted back up and production (live) servers. MJ Freeway had multiple back up sources, so data can be recovered, but it is a lengthy process of manually reconstructing. Data recovery efforts will continue for every client over the next several weeks. We may not recover 100% of data for every client. We will continue to communicate with clients as we make progress on this recovery effort.
4.  Regulator communications
We have been working with regulatory bodies regarding the outage. If you should need it, we have a statement about the attack and subsequent outage that you can share if you get questions from regulatory agencies. To request a copy of that statement, email info@mjfreeway.com.
5.  Bill credits
In addition to covering the cost of temporary staff for data entry, MJ Freeway will not bill clients for the month of January. You will get a statement with a credit for the first monthly billing period with a January 2017 end date.
Thank you for your patience during this event. We are working hard to serve you and the cannabis industry now and in the future. Please contact us if you have any questions.
